On February 18th, over 20 firefighters from the Glenham and Chelsea Fire Departments attended ice and cold water rescue training. Training began with a lecture given by Craig Elderkin of the Hyde Park Fire Department. Following the mornings lecture both departments participated in several hands on evolutions of victim removal from the water. Training with mutual aid partners is vital to success in todays fire service, much thanks to our brothers and sisters from Chelsea FD we look forward to more successful training like this.
