The members of the Slater Chemical Fire Company held a Special Election at their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 for the Firematic position of Captain. We are proud to announce at this time that Doug Zukowski has been elected to fill that position for the year and serve with the rest of the officers of this company. Doug has held every active line officer position in this company previously and has served us as both Assistant Chief and Chief as well. We congratulate Doug on stepping back in as Captain and wish him well and pray for a fruitful year for him, the team of officers he serves with and the Glenham Fire Department as a whole.
